this has been quite a challenging study due to the lack of visible detail on the nose and eyes. i have tried to bring in the suggestion of detail that was lost in the photo without tipping the light balance too much. the photograph of the finished drawing was taken in low light on odd settings my husband left it on, so sorry about the poor quality of the photo - however, i thought this was better than a scan, as i lost the lightest tones, making large areas look flat where they were not!
